Leslie began her musical education at the ripe age of 5 years old, playing violin and piano.  She sang in choirs and musicals throughout her childhood and continued her musical training at Southwestern University with a vocal and violin music scholarship.  In college she participated in Opera Theatre, Musical Theatre and Chamber Orchestra performances.  While Leslie's musical training has been in the classical realm, jazz music is what feeds her soul, and she loves performing with Blue Channel Jazz Quartet.  She also occaisionally performs as a vocal soloist or violinist for weddings and other events.
